Part Number: 07-034K
A stainless steel rotor that is slid down the shaft and secured with set screws at 90 degrees for maximum holding power. Precision tolerances are maintained by computer controlled lathes. The faces have a number 9 micro finish and are perpendicular to the bore to prevent run-out as the collar rotates. The Carbon Stator will polish the face of the rotor during the first few minutes of operation. The stainless steel rotor should not need to be replaced under normal operating conditions. The stainless steel rotor used on the PSS Shaft Seal are made from 316L stainless steel.
I find the online store quick and easy, being able to check your parts options before ordering is great time saver
Worked perfectly out of the box, I am really happy with my new rotor (and new carbon stator). PYI I did a great job of getting the parts shipped quickly, including a last minute update to the shipping address after I mis-typed. I have to say as well that PYI provided great over the phone support when my original shaft seal (10+ years old) had begun a slow drip on the way to Jamaica. Love the product and the company.
Thanks for the quick shipment. Rotor and new bellows installed all good..
