PYI Clamp Jackets come free with every PYI Hose Clamp order!
Put an end to exposed hose clamp tails! Clamp Jackets by PYI Inc. protect users from cuts and scrapes caused by the sharp ends of hose clamps.
Made out of durable EPDM rubber, the unique sleeve design allows the Clamp Jacket to slip over the tail of a worm gear hose clamp to provide worker protection from cuts and abrasion from exposed clamp tails. The Clamp Jacket is ideal for a multitude of projects, including marine, automotive, industrial, military, and even around the house. So quit cutting yourself and get some Clamp Jackets; after all, they're cheaper than Band-Aids. Used by the US Coast Guard!

- Material durometer of 70+ / -5 (Shore A)
- Tensile strength of 14.3 MPa
The standard Clamp Jacket features non-slip grips on the sides for easy installation and removal. While the T-Bolt style Clamp Jacket utilizes indents for super grip when installing and removing.
I purchased a few small set screws that could have been easily mailed in a small envelope via USPS. The lowest cost shipping was half the price of my purchase at $12 for priority USPS mail to Atlanta, Ga. There was no priority needed so I called support to question this, but did not get much understanding. There must be a lower cost mailing option for a few set screws. I am able to mail oil samples to Blackstone labs for under $8.
Prompt, friendly service from everyone at the PYI store. Would recommend to others.
All good stuff, received in really good time. Will order again
Went in smooth works great
I’ve found two things concerning hose clamps. First, add PYI jackets to the tails. Enough with the blood shed. Second, loosen each clamp on your boat, add some Lanocote to the worm drive using a toothpick and then retighten. Inspect each clamp as you go for corrosion and notice how much smoother it snugs back up on the hose. The little things can make a difference...
